Christopher is the Marketing &
Programs Manager for High Tech Rochester (HTR) helping
area technology entrepreneurs grow their businesses bigger, better,
and smarter. Organizationally, HTR supports the efforts of our community's
entrepreneurs and established business-owners alike. Christopher
has worked with HTR for six years. At the beginning of County Executive
Maggie Brooks' tenure, Christopher served on the Monroe County Economic
Development Strategy Team.
Having lived in Rochester nearly all of his life,
Christopher is a 1997 graduate of the University of Rochester, majoring
in Philosophy and Political Science. More recently, Christopher
completed his MBA at the Simon
School of Business, concentrating in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Locally, Christopher co-founded the Rochester
Young Professionals, a grassroots organization focused
on connecting area professionals to opportunities, involving members
in the community, engaging people in the cultural goings-on, and
informing members of important local issues.
Christopher's interests include WaveRunning and
watersports, flying, cars, photography, and exploring the great
outdoors. For years, Christopher has seen his friends, classmates
and colleagues leave Rochester for cities like Boston or New York
City, in part because they didn't realize all that Rochester has
to offer, and in part because it can be difficult to enjoy these
assets. Having identified a solution to some of these community
problems and having assembled a team of talented individuals who
share the keen interest in Rochester's future, Christopher expects
the Rochester Trolley to succeed and become a permanent,
ever-growing fixture in our community.
